The Ravens have signed wide receiver 
Campanaro, 26, was a restricted free agent and the Ravens initially placed an original-round tender on him last month. But the two sides worked out a new contract for 2017, which replaces the restricted tender.
The deal is worth up to $2 million, and it includes a $250,000 signing bonus and $250,000 roster bonus, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun.
The River Hill High School product has been with the Ravens since 2014, but injuries have limited his contributions during that stretch. He’s played in 11 career games and has caught 12 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown. He also has 89 rushing yards and a touchdown.
Campanaro played in three games last season for Baltimore after spending the first half of the year rehabbing from a calf injury. He then worked his way up from the practice squad and took over the starting punt return job late in the year.
He will compete for the starting returner jobs again this year, and gives the Ravens a valuable target in the slot if he’s able to stay healthy.
